Legislation will be introduced to Parliament today, giving control of the parklands around the Adelaide Oval to the Stadium Management Authority.
It's the next step in the process of turning the Adelaide Oval into an AFL venue
Infrastructure Minister Pat Conlon says parking remains the only debatable point.
"One option is we take a precinct and lease it to the sports, we're not doing that, we're leasing the oval - the built form not the parklands - what we're proposing to do is identify two areas where cars are parked at present and I'm proposing to license the sports to run car parking only"
