Fatalities confirmed in Christchurch quake

New Zealand police have confirmed that several locals have died from the impact of the violent quake which just hit Christchurch.

Fatalities have been reported at various locations throughout the CBD.

Two buses crushed on impact from falling buildings, the Christchurch Cathedral was badly damaged, and Christchurch Hospital was also hit hard by the carnage.

Water is filling the streets and he CBD is in chaos.
