Cornthwaite pleads gulity to assault charge

Adelaide United defender Robbie Cornthwaite has pleaded guilty to one count of assault, after a scuffle with a bouncer outside a city nightclub in August.

The 24 year old has also admitted withholding information from police.

Sentencing submissions will be heard in February,  to fit in with Cornthwaite's commitments in the Asian Champions League.
