Coalition Smashes Newspoll

The Coalition is ahead of Labor in all mainland states for the first time since last year's federal election.

On a two-party preferred basis the Newspoll in The Australian shows overall support for the coalition is at 57% compared to Labor's 43%.

Labor's primary vote is below 30% in every mainland state except Victoria - where it's 32%.
