Consumer watchdog Choice will weigh into the banking debate, when it launches a new campaign today.
The group's urging the banks to listen to the needs and concerns of their customers.
The banks are under fire for reporting massive profits and raising their home loans above the official cash rate.
Christopher Zinn from Choice says the "Better Banking Initiatives" campaign will run for six months, and hopefully put more pressure on the banks.
"Everyday counts, if you think in terms of the record profits that are being announced and how much those are worth everyday and really how those profits are skimmed off all of the transactions, all of us make as consumers and business, it's actually never too late to take action"
