Emergency services are amazed no-one was injured after a car went through three fences and ploughed into the front of a Prospect home earlier this morning.

The incident happened just after 5.30am on Churchill Rd.

The car has caused major structural damage to the house, the car landing on and damaging a gas metre and knocking out power to several properties.

Luckily neither the driver nor the home's occupants were hurt but the damage bill has been set at around $50,000.
