Police are currently at the Salisbury bus interchange where a man has been assaulted.

Just after 5.30 this morning, several witnesses saw two men wearing black hooded tops hit the victim in the face before stealing his wallet.

The victim has gone to the Lyell McEwin hospital for minor injuries.

Both offenders are about 6 feet tall, one is described as being of Aboriginal appearance and the other Caucasian.
