Australian Found Dead In Laos

A young Australian man has been found dead in a hotel room in Laos, the third to die in the country in the past month.

The Foreign Affairs Department says the 22-year-old's body was found in a hotel in north-west Laos.

Local authorities want to speak to his Dutch girlfriend who has disappeared.

Consular staff are now providing assistance to the man's family in Victoria.
