The return of three Australian protestors who've been held on board a Japanese whaling vessel since Saturday night is expected to take several days.

After tense negotiations, Japan has agreed not to charge the trio and to release them to Australian authorities.

Attorney-General Nicola Roxon says a customs vessel is now on its way to rendezvous with the Japanese ship.

"The Customs vessel was already on an ocean mission, it wil now need to divert and turn back closer to Australia. It is affected by the weather and our estimates are it will take a number of days."

You have got to be joking Ms Roxon / Ms Gillard. Were these jokers in your electorates or something.
Just finished my polite discussion about Holden, when I hear on the news that these misguided, thrill seekers have cost the Tax payers 100,s of thousands of dollars. What the hell are we doing in this country. Nobody asked me if my Taxes can be used to accomodate the whims of these bludgers. Do any of them pay Taxes.
If they can afford to operate that cruise ship of theirs, then send them the bill. Maybe they could use some of the donations they extract from the poor sods who actually believe the money is saving any whales. It,s providing these people an income, and the means to fund their lifestyle Industry.
SEND THEM THE BILL.
