Wang Wang and Funi have been moved into the same enclosure at Adelaide Zoo in the hopes they'll have panda babies.
The pair are the only Giant Pandas in the southern hemisphere and are among a small group around the world that are being bred in the hopes of saving the species from extinction.
For the next 3 to 5 days Wang Wang and Funi will not be on display, with their keepers closely monitoring them behind the scenes to make sure they don't become agressive and hurt eachother during the mating process.
Funi has been showing signs that she has come into season, prompting zoo staff to try and mate the pair.
