Outer Harbour will be a hive of activity this weekend with four cruise ships docking in Adelaide.

The Queen Mary Two, carrying close to 4000 passengers and crew, is the largest of the liners to grace our shores, arriving on Saturday.

We then welcome the Celebrity Century, Crystal Serenity and Athena on Sunday, all three also docking at Port Adelaide.

Trading hours have been extended in Rundle Mall for the Sunday visitors with shops opening at 9.30 am.

It's part of the State Government's push to increase cruise ship arrivals in our state, the move set to inject millions of extra dollars into our economy each season.
