19yo Charged With Arson

Police have charged a 19-year-old man from Yatala Vale with arson.

Just after 10.30 last night, a member of the public allegedly witnessed the man set fire to a car in Clairville Road at Campbelltown.

The witness followed the suspect to an address in Newton and contacted police who arrested the man.

It's alleged he set fire to his own vehicle.

He's expected to appear in court next month
